Connecting With Each Other...

Vallejo Drive Church is more than a building or a place of worship.

It is a community—a community of believers, comprised of ordinary people, far from perfect, displaying common human weaknesses and limitations; yet, together we are capable of extraordinary things, like building God's Kingdom in our midst.

Within this community, we connect with each other in order to nurture, to grow, to help, to experience, to cry, and to laugh.

By worshipping our God—in song and music, in praise and prayer, and in sharing the Word together.

By coming to the Lord's Table as we celebrate Communion together.

By sharing our smiles, hugs and warm "Hellos" on Sabbath mornings.

By lending a listening ear and heart, and a helping hand.

We share food with each other during our monthly Fellowship Luncheons, where one can actually taste—figuratively and literally—the international flavor of our community.

We share fun and laughter as we play together—at game nights, hiking in nature, hayrides, running, water-ski trips and other social events.

We grow closer to each other as we spend time together during Bible study groups and spiritual retreats.
