Now young professionals who cannot attend church services can easily view and participate in the service, wherever they may be.

Glendale, California- July 28, 2004 – A Glendale Christian contemporary ministry (Truth + Spirit), today announced live Internet broadcasting of its worship services. Truth + Spirit is a ministry of Vallejo Drive Seventh-day Adventist Church adjacent to the Glendale Adventist Medical Center. This is the first and only Christian community in Glendale that offers live and recorded services via the Internet. Geographical locations, bad weather conditions and physical limitations are among the many reasons why some people cannot personally attend church services.

“Today, families and friends are widely dispersed all over the world. Now, with this new technology, we can include people who are unable to take part in our services,” said Pastor Elizabeth Talbot, the pastor for the Truth + Spirit ministry. “In response to Jesus’ commission to go into all the world, the Truth + Spirit ministry wants to fulfill this mission to accelerate the day of Christ’s coming by preaching the Good News that Jesus Christ accomplished salvation on the cross for all those who believe in Him.,” continued Pastor Elizabeth Talbot.

Truth + Spirit ministry provides a contemporary and relaxed atmosphere for young adults, young professionals, and seekers of all ages. Truth + Spirit ministry, in conjunction with Vallejo Drive Adventist Church and Glendale Adventist Medical Center, have participated in several community services and events such as city-wide clean ups, community training and concerts. This ministry has been recognized by the mayor of Glendale, California Legislature Assembly and US House of Representatives for the outstanding care given to the local community.

PraiseCast is the company that provides the technology for the live broadcasts via the Internet. “There are over 700 million people around the world that have Internet access. We are pleased to enable the Truth + Spirit ministry to enhance its reach and connect with people who are unable to attend in person,” said Vince Imani, President of PraiseCast.

The first live broadcast will be on August 6th at 8:30pm and after that it can be viewed every Friday beginning at approximately 8:30 pm Pacific Time at www.truthandspirit.com. A recording of these broadcasts will also be available at the same web site for later viewing.
